A Figment in Time

This poem is the first piece I wrote on figment.

Life is a journey

Life is a journey with multiple quests. Each quest is part of an enduring test. Follow the path that leads to your destiny. So you may know your true identity. The things you may encounter are unknown. I cannot help you, you must travel alone.

This is the second and last piece I wrote on figment. Sadly I never even finished it:

Lonesome

Look out the window

I’m standing there

But you don’t notice me

Cause you don’t care

We used to be friends

We used to have fun

But now we’re falling apart

And I’m turning glum

I see you in the halls

When I’m at school

You’re with a crowd of girls

Trying to act all cool

We used to be friends

We used to have fun

But know we’re falling apart

And I’m turning glum

Each word you say

Behind my back…..

***Unfinished***

Sadly figment will cease to exist. I guess this my tribute to the site that I joined. I will miss re-reading two favourite stories: 234 Craine, and The Coffee Shoppe.

So long Figment…..
